VUZU.TV: V Entertainment - @BoooomaYe

I HAVE NEVER BEEN A PLAYER ; I WAS ACTUALLY LOOKING FOR A WOMAN- @BoooomaYe

Today at the African Regent Hotel (Hotel Kuffour), Mnet organized an eviction press conference for Alex Biney who was the second Ghanaian evictee to be voted out from the TV reality show, Big Brother Amplified after Confidence Haugen.

The tall, handsome nice looking young man only lived in Ghana for ten years of his formative years and did the rest outside the shore of our dear nation because his father was a diplomat as compared to Confidence Haugen who is far popular and live much of her life here in Ghana whom he enter the BBA with.

Alex declared at his press conference why he was not in the house to play women but was actually looking for a women as he does not have a girlfriend. many Ghanaians will remenber him geting involve in more than three women in the house and geting some of the best kisses in the house.

Before now, the name Alex Biney never rings a bell in the ears of the loving entertainment fans in Ghana. However, thanks to Big Brother Amplified today Alex’s name has somewhat become a household name on the lips of the teaming fans of the reality show and has now immediately attained a celebrity status since then.

At his maiden meeting with the Ghanaian Media, Alex looked calm and quite humble but he seems to have disappointed a lot of the media men present because he seems not to have a blueprint as to what his current plans with respect to what he will be doing or where his career will be heading as compared to Confidence who had a grips of what she will be using her fame for.

Bomaye, meaning victory another name for Alex which he had from the Big Brother House didn’t become popular with most Ghanaians because he got evicted much earlier. The guy who burned so many hearts in the big brother house admitted to the fact that he really likes Angola las WEZA and disclosed that his kiss with her was passionate and emotional and a good kiss he will want to have any day.

He admitted to taking advantage of situations in the house and that if he gets the opportunity to go back to the house, it will be worse for the housemates in the house.

The Ghanaian housemate also shocked the journalist and Multi Choice staff as well as some invited guest when he said he has been Gay before when he was between the ages 8 and 9 but stopped it when he realized that is not what he wanted. He also admitted to liking spirits.

I Haven’t Seen My Naked Photos – @BoooomaYe

Ghana’s only male Housemate at the Big Brother Amplified (BBA) House in South Africa, Alex Biney, says knows that nude pictures of him are in the public domain though he has not seen one.

Alex, until a fortnight ago when he was voted out, was one of the several Africans competing for the $200,000 cash prize at the BBA and seems not to have no problem stripping naked before millions of television audience around the world so as to win the amount.

In a post eviction interview with eTV Ghana’s Late Night Celebrity Show, Alex said he and all the Housemates were aware that they were being filmed and that there was nothing like ‘privacy’, therefore, he would not be surprised if just like his former colleagues, his naked photos get to the public.

“I’m sure it will be hilarious…I haven’t seen myself yet, but I’m sure it will be hilarious,” Alex simply said. Though the Housemates were very much aware that their actions were being streamed to millions of TV viewers all over the world, they damned the consequences and removed their underwear anyway, showing their sex organs and pubic hairs.

Some of the photographs also showed both adult males and females bathing together or stripping before each other.Still on the interview, Alex insisted he is not dating anyone and that he was single before going into the BBA House and has come out of the House still single and available.

Alex was recently reported to have said he had a crush on Ghanaian actress Nadia Buari. He expressed disappointed about his eviction from the BBA. “I was surprised because that was the first time people got the chance to vote for me.

The first time I was up for eviction was when I was the head of house and I swapped myself with Karen. You know I was really surprised,” Alex noted. He is on record as the Ghanaian to have stayed in the BBA competition for the longest period before being evicted.

Bad man never screw up – @BoooomaYe

Evicted Ghanaian housemate, Alex Biney, in the on-going Big Brother Africa (Amplified) reality show has said contrary to perceptions that he screwed up, a contributory factor to his eviction, he did not, claiming he provided the best of entertainment to viewers.

He said he would have agreed to that assertion on the day of the nominations when his name was mentioned, “but right now its entertainment for me. I see it as entertainment. It doesn't matter what I did or the consequences of my actions, it was entertainment.

“I provided the best entertainment I could provide at the moment. I used every situation to my advantage to put me in the forefront, to give me this platform…I don't regret anything, I don't believe I screwed up.”

Alex was evicted from the reality show Sunday, July 10, along with two of his 'wives' - Miss P and Weza – the trio widely tagged as 'the triangle'.

Nicknamed Boma Ye, Alex left the Big Brother Africa show as Ghana's best performer. He spent 70 days in the show, became Head of House and came up for eviction on two occasions - the first of which he saved himself.

Genuine strategy
Addressing the media Friday at the Africa Regent Hotel, Alex stressed that he went into the reality show without faking anything, adding that his strategy and life in the Big Brother House were genuine. To him, he entered the reality show with an open mind and did not play any of the housemates.

The sleek looking Ghanaian reiterated that going into the competition, he visualized himself with money, and had the feeling and confidence that he was going to win the money. Although he did not win the money, he rated his overall performance as excellent. “On a scale of one to ten, ten being the highest, one being the least, I will definitely rate myself an eleven.”

Although it's been almost a week since he was evicted, remaining housemates in the show seem to miss the Ghanaian as some of his phrases are still being used and his name constantly on their lips.

Passionate kiss
Alex was caught up with Miss P, Weza and Millicent. Considering the twist and turns that his hot relationship with the three, especially Miss P and Weza, there was no way the curious journalists who turned up for the press conference will let questions about the affairs go unanswered.

On Weza, the 'Lover Boy' disclosed that, “Me kissing Weza, that was all physical. It was never a strategy, I just took advantage of situations…I definitely think that the kiss Weza and I shared was more passionate…it was a good kiss,” adding he has feelings for Weza and believes that anything is possible when it comes to Weza and Miss P.

He had a lot of good moments and was well connected with her fellow housemates. “I definitely knew my housemates and I miss them all.” He maintained that if he gets a second chance into the house, “I wouldn't do anything different…it will be worse for them.”

The Big Brother Africa reality show has come under the radar several times with many criticizing and bashing the show for being 'unAfrica' and also promoting immorality.

Ask which housemates might have had sex in the house, Alex hinted that there were rumors that Ernest and Bhoke, Kim and Nic, Kim and Lomwe might have had sex in the house.

He was however quick to distance himself from any sexual activity stating that there were a lot of opportunities for him to also get involved sexually with some of the female housemates but he opted out due to his core African values.

Big Brother Amplified winners
To Alex, the two housemates who are in the forefront of winning this season's Big Brother Africa (Amplified) show are Nigeria's Karen and South Africa's Luclay.

Although he will not be quick to judge, he said the game is still open, but if Karen and Luclay, keep viewers entertained, then “by all means they should take it”.

This season's show will see two housemates walk away with US$200,000 each.

Life
Son of a diplomat, the charismatic Alex had the privilege of traveling the world over, and only returned to the country recently when his father passed away.

Although he started his early life and school at the Achimota primary school to Achimota Secondary School, Alex spent most of his life in the States. It was in one of his visits to Ghana that he chanced on the Big Brother auditions.

With a life full of glitz and drama, Alex Biney worked for Russell Simmons, co-founder of Def Jam and the creator of Phat Farm. At a point in his life, he got into a 'little' trouble that got him jailed for two months.

The future
As to the future, the 12th housemate to be evicted from the reality show said he is open to possibilities and opportunities, but expressed great interest in the media. For the mean time, he intends going back to his love profession, fashion, and possibly relaunch his trade in Ghana.

He disclosed that he has been touched by an initiative that his fans here in Ghana have started. The initiative, 'Team Alex', is into charitable activities and promised to throw his full weight behind the initiative.

He explained that the name Boma Ye which was widely used in the house, was a nick name culled from the legendary boxer Mohammed Ali – meaning Kill Him. “If I choose the name Boma Ye, it means I'm a winner and everything I do I accomplish it to the teeth,” he said.

Chale Nana Aba Anamuah, please report the truth cause when i see u in the streets i will confront you!!!!

Just a few days after arriving in Ghana from his 70-day stay in the Big Brother Amplified reality TV show, Alex Biney also known as Bomaye has carried his ladies’ man reputation to a new level when he hit on Ghanaian star actress, Nadia Buari on TV3’s Diva Show, Saturday morning.

A viewer sent in a text message suggesting Nadia and Alex would be good together as a couple. Alex replied “I Think so too”, attracting a smile from the beautiful actress. He added that he thinks Nadia likes dark chocolate guys since she dated Michael Essien in the past, thus making him (Alex) a perfect candidate for Nadia. TRUE

Nadia and Alex were both guests on the Diva Show and several points in their double interview, the host picked on signs that Alex was checking Nadia out. At some stage, the host, Nana Aba Anamuah even had to ask Alex to stop staring at Nadia’s legs. FALSE- I'm always a gentleman

When Alex was asked whether Nadia could do well in the Big Brother house, he replied that Nadia just had to smile and Big Brother would declare her the winner. Corny? Wait there is more! Alex added that he had watched a lot of Nadia Buari movies including ‘Beyonce’ and was smitten by Nadia’s smile in posters.

“I’m blushing literally”, Nadia replied TRUE

I Refused To Become An American’ – Alex Biney, Evicted Ghana Rep To The Big Brother Amplified

Some Ghanaians will pay whatever amount to become an American citizen. However, at the press conference organized by MultiChoice Ghana, Alex Biney the evicted Ghanaian representative to the on-going Big Brother Amplified reality TV show in South Africa said that he had several opportunities to switch his nationality from Ghanaian to America but refused whenever the opportunity presented itself.

Wearing a T-Shirt with the inscription ‘I Love My People’ with love designed in a heart form in Ghanaian colours, Alex said: “I’m a Ghanaian citizen. I have had numerous opportunities to become a US citizen and I refused them.” He said confidently to show his strong allegiance to mother Ghana.

Explaining his reasons, he said that “… basically, in our house, we have always valued where we came from. I love the Ghanaian culture, the masks, our carvings, our clothing, and the food. Just being in the States and not being Ghanaian was something we couldn’t consider. Like I said I have had opportunities to be an American and it just didn’t feel right. I have always known that I’m a Ghanaian. I have always known that made me special. Ghana for life”.

He denied having sexual intercourse in the house, though he acknowledged he came close to it. He said he had lots of opportunities to go for it but he didn’t because he was thinking about the repercussion for the ladies.

“There were a lot of opportunities, I could have taken it. However, with me I was thinking a lot more about the ladies. With men I have come to realize that we can go on these shows and have threesomes and foursomes and come out looking like a heroes. With the ladies, it’s not like that, they come out looking bad. Their image is tarnished. There are so many backlashes. I really didn’t want them to go through all of that.” He said.

He continued: “Because I come from a family with lots of women in there, they instill a lot of morals into me and my brothers. It may look like I was a player but at the day I was really looking out for the women. I set some standard over there that I hope men will follow on how to take care of their women”.

Alex, the son of a diplomat entered the Big Brother house virtually not known to many Ghanaians but he went in there and came out with a new nickname ‘the ladies man’. Miss P, Weza and Millicent competed for his love; something many people believed was a contributory factor to his eviction.

He apologized later to them for his actions after they took some backlashes. He said in the States, it’s different.

“In the States, it’s different. They will be glorified; they will get magazine office. Get a million dollars in Playboy for doing these things but in Africa it’s totally different. We still value women and we still consider them as part of the community.”

Talking about why and how he got into the Big Brother game. He said: “The reason was simple. At that time I had come from New York – trying to establish here in Ghana and working on my collection and also looking for other business opportunities in Ghana and the Big Brother opportunity is a tremendous opportunity. It positions you in a way that you have more options in life and avenues open to you that in a normal circumstance that you have to be connected or work for it.”
“So the reason for being in the game was simply for the exposure and I just feel I had the strong sense of confidence about myself that I can make it happen.”

Alex has worked for Russell Simmons, co-founder of Def-Jam Records and creator of Phat Farm. Don’t get it twisted Alex won’t go into music like his predecessors. He spent 70 days in the house and hopes Nigerian’s Karen and South African’s Luclay are in the forefront to win the double $200.000 cash prize.

At the press conference, Alex was presented with a DStv Mobile enabled Nokia handset with one year free subscription from Dstv Mobile Ghana. His eviction party was on Saturday, July 16 at the Aphrodisiac Night Club. Anytime you chance on Alex, just shout ‘Bomaye’ and he’s going to respond back.

@john, Why call him an idiot???? I am a USA citizen and it doesnt mean jack. A lot of Ghanaians waste a lot of valued time to become citizens of the US only to wait for opportunity to do other things TO elude them. The only difference between an american citizen and non american is VOTING RIGHTS. Ability to file for a spouse and traveling to places on short term is superficial.
This guy is from a diplomat family. WHY ON EARTH DO YOU WANT HIM TO GIVE UP THE BETTER RIGHT OF A DIPLOMAT TO BECOME ANOTHER COUNTRY’S CITIZEN. FOR YOUR INFORMATION, IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO HOLD DUAL CITIZENSHIP IF YOU REQUIRE CLEARANCE OR SPECIAL PASSPORT FOR AMERICANS, IDK ABOUT GHANA BUT I DONT THINK IT SHOULD BE DIFFERENT.
The only thing in American is to be RICH, your citizenship or place of birth in America is JUNK IF YOU ARE PPPOOOOOORRR. THIS IS WISDOM.
